Wow. We only have two meetings left! That’s just one more sign that Summer and the end of the school year are a stone’s throw away. Our soggy Spring may leave many of us feeling wrinkled and fog-brained, but the sunshine really is coming. Now, there’s a reason for some joy…
Since November, we have had the pleasure of meeting to discuss the many aspects of finding joy in our lives. Topics have included Joy vs. Happiness, What Gets In the Way of Joy?, Nurturing Our Spirits, Opening Our Hearts, Being Present to Our Lives, and more. This week, Bev Gaines will review and wrap-up where we have been. Each of us has had a part in this journey. Be thinking about your experience with it. What can you share? What resonated with you? Did you incorporate any of the material in your day-to-day life? How so? What changes have you made? How has this been for you? Maybe you had a “wake-up” moment. Maybe you caught yourself letting go of an old story. Maybe you were really honest with yourself about something. Maybe you felt really sad or scared, or even- joyful. Whatever your experience, it all belongs. Bring it to the meeting.
This next meeting, the Blue Group will do set-up, clean-up, and provide food. One of your group members will contact you soon via email with details. Set-up starts at 8:45.
Those who were at the last meeting had the opportunity to fill out the Mom’s Morning Retreat Survey. The information we got was great and we want more! This Thursday the survey will be available to those who haven’t filled it out yet. Thank you for your participation.
An Important Reminder:
Our last meeting is on June 9th! This is different from the usual 1st and 3rd Thursday schedule. If you haven’t already done so, mark your calendars now. Let’s celebrate the awesome year we’ve had. We look forward to seeing you there.
