Mom’s Morning Retreat meets this Thursday, October 20th, 9:30am at Grace Episcopal Church, and we hope you’ll come participate in a discussion on the Enneagram.
As this year’s theme is “Embrace Your Self: the Art of Authentic Living,” it is important to know who this self is that we want to embrace. Bev Gaines and Martha Middleton will this week present the Enneagram, a personality typology that has deep roots in sacred traditions. Primarily a profound psychological and spiritual tool, the Enneagram is used in therapy, coaching, spiritual direction and 12-step programs. Understanding and applying the Enneagram principles will also likely assist in improving relationships with family, friends and co-workers by giving you a new way to view human nature and patterns of behavior. We hope you’ll enjoy discovering more about yourself (and possibly others, in your life)!
At our meeting, we’ll have time for only a taste of the Enneagram tools. If you are interested in more information on the Enneagram, Bev and Martha are offering two workshops in November, from 9am to 4pm, including a provided lunch.

“There is vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.” Martha Graham
