So, before we all catapult ourselves into the future, the holidays, the year’s end, the planning, the hopes and the expectations, let’s take a big, slow group inhale together.
This week Bev will lead us further down the path of our year’s theme, Embracing Our Self. Trying to live fully in the present, we often find difficulty with letting go of the past and things we have done or not done. We may get snagged on areas we feel guilt, blame and/or shame. In this journey of living an authentic life, we find we must come to terms with our past, and the ability to let it go will depend on whether we can forgive ourselves and others for things that happened and things that didn’t happen. Forgiveness is a process, and this week we will be discussing that process and what may help us move more easily along the way.
Monday, December 19, 7:00 to 8:00 pm
During this season which can feel so busy, we invite you to join us for a special experience of quiet reflection. We will gather in a small group to walk the labyrinth on the grounds of Grace Church.
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol of spiritual journey and has been a useful meditative tool for many cultures. It is not a maze; it is a pathway.
We invite you to join us for an hour. Cocoa and cookies will be served in the church, where Bev Gaines will describe the labyrinth and the practice of walking it. Then together we’ll step out into the dark, with candles, and quietly enter the labyrinth, receiving what comes.
Childcare will not be provided for this special event, so please make other arrangements for your children. Spouses, family and friends are very welcome to join us.

We hope you can make the meeting and the labyrinth walk! See you this week!
