Daring Greatly to Live Wholeheartedly

This week’s talk will draw from Sociologist Brene Brown’s book Daring Greatly, and her work with vulnerability.

We will look at how our culture produces feelings of “not enough” and examine our “vulnerability shields” and their antidotes: “daring greatly practices.”

Join us as we continue on our Journey of Compassion.

Coming Soon: Fleece Blanket Activity Planned for November 21st Meeting

We’re doing it again! At our second meeting in November (the 21st) we will be making cozy fleece blankets for the Kitsap County foster care program. These blankets are given to children just coming into foster care to provide them with extra warmth and security.

If you or someone you know would like to donate fleece for this activity, we would be thrilled to have additional fabric to use at the meeting. Non-crafty people please note: this is a fun, no-sew project and it’s always a great community project meeting where we can enjoy talking and tying these easy fleece blankets together! Bring a friend!
