Year-End Meeting This Thursday, June 5th at 9:30 a.m.

The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the interdependence of all these living beings, which are all part of one another, and all involved in one another. –Thomas Merton

Last Fall we embarked upon a metaphorical “Journey of Compassion” and with Bev as our guide we set out to discover more about this elusive ideal of compassion.

We asked ourselves, what is compassion? How can we enrich our connection with ourselves, with our loved ones, with acquaintances, and yes–even with the difficult people in our lives?

As we’ve traveled this road, have you found yourself growing in compassion?

How does has this sense of empathy, or “co-suffering” changed or evolved in you?

How has your deepening awareness of compassion impacted your relationships–with yourself, as a parent, with other people in your life?

Come reflect on the year and enjoy this special time with Bev. Steering will host this Thursday’s meeting–we hope to see you then!
