Connect & Replenish at our First Fall Mom’s Morning Retreat Meeting Thursday, September 18th at 9:30 am!

IMG_7784-1We are excited to announce this year’s theme:

“Loving the Life You Have”

Plan to join us for our first fall meeting to connect with other moms as we explore mindfulness, our innate capacity to be happy and how we can teach our children the skills they need to raise their emotional intelligence, to be resilient, and to form happiness habits for life.

As we become more conscious parents, with intention and awareness, we also become more mindful of living our own lives with happiness and gratitude.

Bev will be drawing from the new brain science that is coming out of The Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, as well these (and other) books:

Raising Happiness by Christine Carter, Ph.D.

Hardwiring Happiness by Rick Hanson

The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsaybary

Check out the Bookshelf section on our website for a complete reading resource list this fall.

Thank you, to Steering and to all our childcare providers for your hard work and dedication over the summer! We can’t wait for September!photo-3
