Learning to attune and respond to your needs and desires — practicing self-care — impacts every aspect of your life. Nurturing yourself is not selfish — it’s essential to your survival and well-being.

I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving.
This week I will be talking about that idea of “putting your own oxygen mask on first.” This tried and true analogy speaks to an important aspect of loving our lives. When we become attuned to those times when we feel connected and nurtured we begin to build awareness of what we need to thrive. And..when we value our self-care, we are more fully present to those we love.
How does a busy mom find time to take care of herself–especially during the holiday season?
Let’s talk about it this Thursday!
Calling All Blankets!
We had a fantastic time making blankets at our last meeting. The blankets were stacked at the alter and blessed during services at Grace.
If you took one or two home to finish up, thank you! Please return them to this week’s meeting as we are preparing to stock the closet at DSHS Children’s Services!
Many thanks to Sonja Ross for coordinating this project, and to Kendra Field for making this possible–and for the many donations of fleece!
