Connect + Replenish

Join us this Thursday, September 17, from 9:30-11am at Grace Church on Bainbridge Island for the launch of our fall program: “Finding the Sweet Spot.” We will explore what it means to find that *magical* place where everything seems to find balance and things seem to come together – across all dimensions of our lives. It is a time for you to take care of you, to connect + replenish + recharge those super powers – in the service of you AND everything else that you take care of and are responsible for.

Childcare will be available, treats and coffee will be shared, and you will be sure to connect with old friends and make a few new ones.

Recharge your super powers!

New this year: we will be hosting a book group on the fourth Thursday of the month. We will begin right away in September with our first meeting on Thursday, September 24 at Grace at 9:30am (childcare will be provided). This fall we will dive into what it means to find the “Sweet Spot” at home – with our things – and the spaces we inhabit. We will be reading and discussing The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo. Our discussions will be skillfully facilitated by Bev Gaines. Much has been written about this best-selling strategy book, if you’d like to read more, you can begin with this piece from the New York Times last year. What is clear, is that Marie Kondo offers a perspective (and accompanying strategy) on transforming the relationships we have with our *things* that is both unique and, well, effective.

Mom’s Morning Retreat has registered our book club with Eagle Harbor Books in Winslow. If you’d like to purchase your book locally you will receive 15% off this book when you mention that you are part of our book club. To participate in the fall book club there is an additional fee of $40.00 payable with your registration or at anytime.

Pre-registration will be required to attend the first meeting on 9/23.
