We have explored the path we may take in determining how to live our one wild and precious life. We have discussed the tools we need including the all-important self-care. We have considered the role that friends and partners play as companions on our journey. And the reason we all come together as a part of Mom’s Morning Retreat is that which gives us commonality – we are all moms. We are moms to wee ones, to older children, we are caregivers to one, two, three, or more children, some our own and some need our care without being our own.
As moms, as parents, our journeys may have taken unexpected and exciting twists and turns along the way. Perhaps you had a plan, before kids – did that plan stay true or get altered? How have children changed who you are? Do kids mean you make decisions or consider life’s choices differently?
We haven’t seen one another for a few weeks with five weeks in March and Spring break thrown in there. And now we are able to come together again, to connect and replenish as we have all year. Let’s discuss the role that our kids play in our lives. Let’s together consider how they have shaped us while we in turn shape them. Let’s imagine where our one wild and precious life will go as a result of being moms and raising amazing little humans.
We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, 4/20, at Grace Church on Day Road at 9:30-11am. Together we will eat, be merry, reconnect, enjoy the spring blossoms and *maybe* sun, and replenish our souls in discussion. Only a handful of meetings are left for this year so don’t miss a single one to end our season together exploring our one wild and precious life!
